While most students complete the target number of lampshade styles for each course, this can sometimes change depending on their pace and prior hand-sewing experience. After the first day, we’ll review your progress and preferences, allowing me to tailor the course to suit your specific needs, ensuring you master each technique at your own pace.

How to Book Your Course
- As my courses are offered on a one-to-one basis, I invite you to contact me directly via the enquiry form below or email to discuss availability. I offer flexible booking to accommodate both my schedule and yours, ensuring a convenient learning experience. Since many students travel from abroad to attend my courses, it’s recommended to book well in advance to secure the dates that work best for you. Please allow enough time to plan your trip and confirm your course booking. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to check availability before booking.
- Once we have a verbal or written agreement on the dates, these will be reserved for you for three days. To secure your booking, full payment is required within this period. As courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, if payment is not received within three days, the dates will be released to other students.
Learning Style: One-to-One Personalised Instruction
In my workshops, I offer a tailored one-to-one learning experience, ensuring that you receive full attention and guidance. This allows me to adjust the pace and focus on the techniques that align with your individual goals, whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience. No prior sewing skills are necessary, as everything will be taught step by step.
Materials, Tools & Lunch Included
All materials and tools required for your course are provided, so you only need to bring yourself! You’re welcome to bring your own fabric if you wish, though I also have a wide selection available for you to choose from. For my one-to-one sessions, a light lunch is provided, and I can accommodate any dietary preferences or requirements if informed in advance.
Course Pricing
The cost of the course is £1400 for the full duration, which includes all materials, tools, and lunch. Please note that we currently accept payments via direct bank transfer only. Booking Flexibility: Consecutive or Separate Sessions
While most students prefer to complete their course on consecutive days, I understand that scheduling may require flexibility. As the courses are one-to-one, you can choose to split your 4 day course into separate sessions if that works better for your schedule. I’ll work with you to arrange the sessions at times that are convenient for both of us.
Course Hours
Each course runs from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a full day of immersive learning.
Post-Workshop Support
After completing the course, you’ll receive PDF course notes, workshop images, and a list of materials and suppliers to support your ongoing lampshade-making journey. You are also encouraged to take your own notes at the end of the course to capture all the techniques learned, providing a valuable reference for future projects.
